horize travel for the Independent Police Auditor, Eddie J. Aubrey, to attend the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE) Annual Training Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 26 - 30, 2025.

rpose:
Mr. Aubrey will attend at the NACOLE 2025 Annual Conference in October 2025. Established in 1995, the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement (NACOLE) is the primary professional organization of civilian oversight in the United States. The annual conference brings together civilian oversight practitioners, law enforcement officials, journalists, elected officials, students, community members, and others to meet and exchange information and ideas about issues facing civilian oversight and law enforcement. The annual conference typically draws 400-500 people from across the United States and around the world. This year’s conference will focus on several core concepts: Executive Leadership Forum, sharpening skills for effective oversight, involving and engaging stakeholders, nontraditional approaches to building and/or maintaining effective oversight, jail oversight, and expanding oversight’s impact.

ce of Funds: There will be no cost to the Office of the Independent Police Auditor outside of the authorized work time at the conference. Mr. Aubrey has voluntary chosen to pay for all other costs (conference registration, hotel, travel, food) from his own personal funds.

A Office Coverage: During the IPA’s absence at the conference, Dwight White, Assistant IPA, will handle the business of the Office of the Independent Police Auditor.
