The Committee meeting was held in the Council Chambers, and convened at 2:00 p.m.
Present: Councilmembers - Cohen, Kamei, Foley, Doan, Candelas.
Absent: Councilmembers - None

A. City Council (City Clerk)
1. Review March 4, 2025 Final Agenda.
a) Add new items to Final Agenda
b) Assign “Time Certain” to Agenda Items (if needed)
c) Review of Notice of Waiver Requests for Agenda Items or Documents (if needed) Public Comment: None provided.
Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Bien Doan, seconded by Councilmember Rosemary Kamei, and carried unanimously, the Committee approved the final agenda for the City Council meeting on March 4, 2025. (5-0-0)
2. Review March 11, 2025 Draft Agenda.
a. Add New Items to Draft Agenda
b. Assign "Time Certain" to Agenda Items (if needed)
c. Review of Notice of Waiver Requirements for Agenda Items or Documents (if needed) Public Comment: None provided.
Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Domingo Candelas, seconded by Vice Mayor Pam Foley, and carried unanimously, the Committee approved the draft agenda for the City Council meeting on March 11, 2025. (5-0-0)

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Domingo Candelas, seconded by Vice Mayor Pam Foley, and carried unanimously, the Consent Calendar was approved as a whole. The below actions were taken as indicated. (5-0-0)
1. The Public Record for February 13, 2025 - February 20, 2025. (City Clerk)
The Public Record for February 13, 2025 - February 20, 2025 was received and filed.
2. Approval of the Greek Flag Raising and Greek Independence Day Lighting Sponsored by Council District 9 as City Council Sponsored Special Events to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Services for the Events. (Foley) The Greek Flag Raising, scheduled on March 21, 2025, and Greek Independence Day Lighting, scheduled from March 20, 2025 to March 25, 2025, were approved for placement on the March 11, 2025 City Council Agenda for action.
3. Retroactive Approval of Various Events Sponsored by Council District 5 as City Council Sponsored Special Events to Expend City Funds and Accept Donations of Materials and Services for the Events. (Ortiz)
The various events sponsored by Council District 5 were retroactively approved and were approved for placement on the March 4, 2025 City Council Agenda for action. The various events included: the First Cinco de Mayo Celebration Planning Committee Meeting scheduled on November 27, 2024; the International Democracy Day scheduled on December 8, 2024; the Dobern Neighborhood Association Dumpster Day scheduled on December 14, 2024; the Vietnamese Mural Unveiling Ribbon Cutting scheduled on December 19, 2024; the Mt. Pleasant School District Lunar New Year Event scheduled on January 30, 2025; and the District 5 Lunar New Year Event scheduled on February 15, 2025.
