1. Bi-Monthly Financial Report for January/ February 2025.

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Rosemary Kamei, seconded by Councilmember Michael Mulcahy, and carried unanimously, the Committee accepted the Bi-Monthly Financial Report on actual revenues and expenditures as compared to the 2024-2025 Budget for the eight months ending February 2025. (4-0-1; Absent: Casey)
D. Reports to Committee
1. Hemp Regulation Status Report.
Wendy Sollazzi, Division Manager, SJPD; and Rachel Roberts, Deputy Director, Planning, Building & Code Enforcement Department, offered the presentation and responded to questions.

2 Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Rosemary Kamei, seconded by Councilmember Michael Mulcahy, and carried unanimously, the Committee accepted the status report on efforts to ban the sale of chemically synthesized hemp and require registration of industrial hemp retailers. (4-0-1; Absent: Casey)
2. Fire Communications Status Report.
Robert Sapien, Jr., Fire Chief, Fire Department; and Michael Wodnick, Division Manager, Fire Communications, offered the presentation and responded to questions.

Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Bien Doan, seconded by Councilmember Rosemary Kamei, and carried unanimously, the Committee accepted the status report on Fire Communications operations and activities; including staff direction to bring the item back to the PSFSS Committee annually for discussion and renewal. (4-0-1; Absent: Casey)
