-I don't see my memo that I submitted for the 12/11 meeting in the agenda materials. The memo regarding the PRC workplan. -I would like to add the following written comment into the agenda for 12/11. Can you confirm this will be added and how it gets put into the record. Is this read in?
From PRC Commissioner Brennan, "In the PRNS memorandum for the Parks and Recreation Master Plan the analysis and graphic for Figure 2 is misleading. It misrepresents the change in staffing by excluding the additional outsource resources that have been added to maintain almost 100 of the 200+ parks in the system. Because PRNS has added contract labor, the FTE decrease is not as big and/or the acreage increase is not as big. The percentages are materially off. This misrepresenation of the reality has been highlighted to PRNS leadership twice already and most recently when they showed this to the PRC on 12/3. PRNS has not taken actions to show the more realistic scenario calling into question the credibility of all the other analysis they are doing on their organization. -Do you know why the 12/11 meeting is not showing up here? Learn whY. this is im12ortant Katerina, thanks for your help with Neighborhood Services and Education Committee meeting for this Thursday, December 11 2025, and for attaching this email as public comment directly to agenda item 3 - Parks and Recreation Master Plan and Community Impact Report. Angel, thank you so much for setting up that conference call this afternoon with Daphna Woolfe and myself.
How the city accepts the new Winchester Orchard Park, either with the requested wall sections as the correct and appropriate park appurtenance and Urban Village boundary form, or the incorrect and inappropriate existing wooden fences, will set precedent, good or bad.
The Winchester Orchard Neighborhood is hopeful the city will do the right thing, requiring construction of the wall sections requested in the email below. thanks for your assistance and consideration,
