Re: item 2.21 Gardner Community Center
We at Catholic Charities are deeply honored to have been selected to operate the Gardner Community Center. This is a responsibility we do not take lightly, and we recognize the trust that has been placed in us to steward a space that holds great significance for the Gardner community.
We are committed to working in close partnership with community members, local leaders, and service providers to ensure the center is not only fully operational, but truly responsive to the needs and hopes of those it is meant to serve. Our goal is to help cultivate a space that is inclusive, welcoming, and reflective of the community's strengths—a place where families can gather, neighbors can connect, and individuals can access resources that support dignity, stability, and opportunity.
This opportunity allows us to build something truly special alongside the community: a center rooted in collaboration, guided by shared values, and focused on long-term impact. We believe the Gardner Community Center has the potential to become a cornerstone for community engagement and collective growth, and we are grateful to be part of that journey.
I would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Google for the funding associated with this item.
Their investment is instrumental in helping bring this vision to life and ensuring the center's success and sustainability for years to come.
