A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE AMENDING THE CITY OF SAN JOSE PAY PLAN
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE THAT:
The City Council hereby approves an amendment to the City of San José Pay Plan effective December 21, 2025, as follows:
1. Create the classification of Chief of Staff to the City Manager (Unclassified) (1142) with an annual pensionable salary range of $176,160.37 to $284,576.11; and
2. Create the classification of Executive Office Administrator, City Manager’s Office (Unclassified) (1384) with an annual pensionable salary range of $92,601.60 - $122,072.61.
