Action: Upon motion by Councilmember Bien Doan, seconded by Vice Mayor Pam Foley, and carried unanimously, the Committee approved the final agenda for the City Council meeting on January 13, 2026, including the Add Sheet. (4-0-1; Absent: Kamei)
2. Review January 20, 2026 Draft Agenda – Cancelled.
B. Consent Calendar

Action: Upon motion by Vice Mayor Pam Foley, seconded by Councilmember Bien Doan, and carried unanimously, the Consent Calendar was approved as a whole, with the following actions taken as indicated. (4-0-1; Absent: Kamei)

2. 2026-2027 Preliminary General Fund Forecast and Budget Priorities City Council Study Session Date Change. (City Manager)
Revise the date for the 2026-2027 Preliminary General Fund Forecast and Budget Priorities City Council Study Session from January 23, 2026 to February 5, 2026 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Action: The date for the 2026-2027 Preliminary General Fund Forecast and Budget Priorities City Council Study Session was revised from January 23, 2026 to February 5, 2026 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (4-0-1; Absent: Kamei)
3. Neighborhood Services and Education Committee Work Plan. (Mayor and Ortiz)
Approve the Neighborhood Services and Education Committee Work Plan for the period of January through June 2026 and set its meeting schedule on February 12, April 9, and June 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
Action: The Neighborhood Services and Education Committee Work Plan for the period of January through June 2026 was approved. (4-0-1; Absent: Kamei)
4. City Council Appointments of Committees, Boards, and Commissions. (Mayor)
1. Approve the Mayor’s Appointments for each of the Council standing committees as described in Exhibit “A” of the Memorandum.
2. Except for appointments which the Mayor has sole authority to appoint pursuant to statute, organization by laws, or other governing documents, appoint Councilmembers to each of the Boards, Commissions or Committees and assignments as described in Exhibit “B” of the Mayor’s Memorandum.
3. Place the item on the January 13, 2026 City Council Agenda for action.
