A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JOSE APPROVING FOR ADOPTION THE FIVE YEAR
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL
YEARS 2027-2031
WHEREAS, the Proposed Five Year Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2027-2031 was released by the City Manager to the City Council on April 27, 2026; and
WHEREAS, several hearings have been conducted where members of the public have had prior notice and an opportunity to appear and be heard regarding the Proposed Five Year Capital Improvement Program for fiscal years 2027-2031 for the City of San José; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 8, 2026, to consider the “Proposed 2027-2031 Five Year Capital Improvement Program” as presented by the Mayor in his memorandum entitled “June Budget Message for Fiscal Year 2026-2027” and dated June 1, 2026;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to and in accordance with applicable provisions of the Charter of the City of San José, the “2027-2031 Five Year Capital Improvement Program” released by the City Manager to the City Council on April 27, 2026, as modified by the City Council on June 9, 2026, is hereby approved for adoption.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to file the Adopted 2027-2031 Five- Year Capital Improvement Program, as adopted by the City Council on June 9, 2026, in the Office of the City Clerk.
