I urge you to tully tuna POSSO, the Portuguese Organization for Social Services and upportunities. POSSO has been working with the City of San Jose for decades to provide meals to homebound seniors. The City already reduced funding from last year's $705,000 to $364,533 — nearly 50%! Further reduction would severely affect the physical and mental health of POSSO's clients.
POSSO appreciates the past support for some of San Jose's most vulnerable populations, respectfully requests continuation of its valued partnership and full funding in the coming year for San Jose vulnerable seniors.
