Any one of us can become disabled at any time.
I am writing to ask you support, in its entirety, the amendments to Title 20 recommended by City staff and the Planing Commission. These changes will make it much easier and cheaper for a person with a disability to ask the City for an exception to a zoning rule when that rule prevents them from accessing or using their home, and is imperative for creating a more equitable experience for our community members.
Again: we all benefit from accessibility, since any one of us, at any time, may become disabled. Thank you.
