I appreciate the efforts of city representatives and employee organizations to reach fair, sustainable labor agreements that support employees and the community they serve. I encourage the City to provide as much public access as possible through clear, accessible information, opportunities for public comment, and timely updates on agreements, while maintaining the confidentiality required by state law and applicable policy. Respectful negotiations and meaningful public access can strengthen trust in both the process and its outcomes.
