EXECUTIVE SESSION -- CALL TO ORDER: 3:30 p.m. – City Council Chamber at the Nydegger Building – 31421 La Matanza Street, San Juan Capistrano.

ROLL CALL: Mayor Sergio Farias, Mayor Pro Tem Troy Bourne and Council Members Howard Hart, John Taylor, and John Campbell.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS/EXECUTIVE SESSION PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on city business that is not listed on the agenda may do so at this time.
Persons wishing to address the Governing Body on any item that is listed on the Agenda should submit a "Request to Speak" form to the City Clerk/Commission Secretary. Forms are available at the entrance to the Council Chamber. The Mayor/Chair Person will call forward speakers during consideration of each item.
Please limit all comments to 3 minutes.
Persons wishing to address the City Council on Executive Session Items or any business that is not listed on the agenda may do so in person by attending the meeting or by email. If you prefer to submit correspondence, please submit your correspondence to the City Clerk at least an hour prior to the meeting at [email protected] or [email protected]. The public may view the meeting online by using the following link: https://sanjuancapistrano.org/189/Public-Meetings. The City Clerk will call persons wishing to speak in the order received.

An Executive Session will be held for the following purposes, as authorized by statute:

Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d) (4), the City Council will confer with Legal Counsel to discuss initiation of litigation (3 items). b.

Translation Services: Spanish interpreting services available upon request, at City Council meetings. Simultaneous interpretation is provided through the use of headsets and consecutive interpretation (Spanish-to-English) is also available to anyone addressing the City Council. The use of City provided interpreters is not required and persons are welcomed to use their own interpreter. Because many dialects and regionalism exist, the City cannot guarantee that interpreters will be able to interpret into a particular dialect or regionalism, and disclaims any liability alleged to arise from such services. For translation services, please contact the City Clerk’s office (949) 443-6309, no later than 48 prior to the scheduled meeting.
