as Principal and SureTec Insurance Company , a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Texas and authorized to transact business in the State of California _ (hereinafter called "Surely"), as Surety, aro held and firmly bound unto City of San Leandro
as Obligee, hereinafter called Obligee, in the amount of Seventy Nine Thousand Four Hundred Forty Two and Dollars (S.79,442.00 ), for the payment of which, well and truly to bo made, we bind oursolves, our heirs, administrators, exceutors, successors and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.
Whereas, the above bounden Principal has entered into a certnin written contract with the above named Obligee, providing for construction of certain subdivision improvements in APN 75-47-7, 75-47-2, 75-47-3-2 and 75-41-2-1 WHEREAS, said work has been or will be completed by Principal.
NOW, THBREFORE, if said Principal shail promptly replaco and repair any work proven to be defective because of faulty workmanship and/or material within a perlod of one (L) year from date of ecceptance of the work by the Obligee, then this obligation to bo void; Otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
