RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE SAN LEANDRO CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (SLCEA); A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES GROUP; AND A
SIDE LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN LEANDRO MANAGEMENT
ORGANIZATION (SLMO)
WHEREAS, an agreement was reached between the negotiators for the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro City Employees Association (SLCEA); and WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding has been agreed upon between the City and SLCEA for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024, which includes salary schedules; and
WHEREAS, a Compensation Plan for the Confidential Employees Group was updated for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024, which includes salary schedules; and WHEREAS, a Side Letter of agreement has been reached with the San Leandro Management Organization to amend provisions in the current Memorandum of Understanding pertaining to medical/dental contributions, holidays and long-term disability insurance; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said memorandum of understanding, side letter agreement, and compensation plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council RESOLVES as follows:
1. That said and the aforementioned memorandum of understanding, the side letter agreement, and the compensation plan substantially in the forms presented are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantive revisions to said memorandum of understanding, side agreement, and compensation plan, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and
3. That the original executed memorandum of understanding, the side letter and a copy of the approved compensation plan shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
