IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH RRM DESIGN GROUP FOR DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENTS TO MEMORIAL PARK, PROJECT NUMBER 2020.3040. (APPROVES AN AGREEMENT FOR
ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES)
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and RRM Design Group, a copy of which is attached, was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement; and WHEREAS, amendments to clarify the work or respond to unforeseen conditions are a normal aspect of the design process; and
WHEREAS, in order to expedite the delivery of public projects on schedule and on budget, the City Council finds that providing authorization to negotiate and approve amendments is in the best interest of public health, safety and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual amendments to said agreement up to a maximum of $27,533, which is 10% of the original contract amount, each; and
That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative amendments to said agreement up to a maximum of $68,832, which is 25% of the original contract amount.
