RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL
DESIGNATING THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE(S) FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2022 ANNUAL CONFERENCE (PROVIDES FOR
DISCUSSION AND DESIGNATION OF A VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE[S])
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities (“League”) 2022 Annual Conference is scheduled for September 7-9 in Long Beach, California; and WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business Meeting, scheduled for Friday, September 9, in which the League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that establish League policy; and WHEREAS, the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the Annual Business Meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council affirms the recommendation from the Mayor and hereby RESOLVES as follows:
That Councilmember Corina Lopez is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and That Council Member Victor Aguilar, Jr. is hereby designated as the alternate voting delegate.
