RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO
APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BAY AREA
TREE SPECIALISTS FOR HIGH MAINTENANCE TREE TRIMMING
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor have executed an Agreement, pursuant to which Contractor provides certain services with regard to tree maintenance; and WHEREAS, Bay Area Tree Specialists has agreed to the terms of the amendment pending Council approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the following contract amendments are approved:
1. Section 2 of the Agreement entitled “Compensation” is hereby amended to pay Contractor a sum not to exceed $126,169; and
2. Exhibit A of the Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended to include High Maintenance Trees – Phase 2; and
3. Exhibit B of the Agreement entitled “Compensation Schedule” is hereby amended to read: Phase II, $449.00 price per trim, $126,169 Total for 281 trees.
4. All other terms shall remain in full force and effect.
