RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO
APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TAIT & ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR
THE PWSC REPLACE FUEL TANKS PROJECT NO. 2020.3600 FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $118,512; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE CUMULATIVE AGREEMENT AMENDMENTS UP TO 15% ($17,777) OF
THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT (PROVIDES FOR THE ENGINEERING AND
DESIGN TO REMOVE AND REPLACE FOUR UNDERGROUND FUEL
STORAGE TANKS)
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and TAIT & Associates, Inc., was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows:
That the City Council hereby approves and authorizes the City Manager to accept the proposal herein
mentioned; negotiate, approve, and execute the agreement for design and engineering services with TAIT & Associates for an amount not to exceed $118,512; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual agreement amendments to the consulting services agreement up to 15% (or $17,777) of the original contract amount.
