IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO
APPROVE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INTERNS FOR CITY DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council approve and accept the sole source nonprofessional services agreement with Year Up, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $600,000 for 20 workforce development interns to various City of San Leandro departments in calendar year 2023; and
WHEREAS, Interns will be assigned to project-based and time-bound assignments; and WHEREAS, 2023 Interns will be placed in the following departments: City Manager’s Office, Finance, Information Technology, Human Services, Library, Police, Public Works, Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
