IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE UPGRADING TWO FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT
POSITIONS TO THE ADOPTED BUDGET STAFFING ALLOCATION
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 biennial budget on June 28, 2021 and updated the staffing allocation on January 18, 2022; and
WHEREAS, upgrading the Management Analyst I position to a Public Information Officer position in the City Manager's Office staffing allocation will assist in improving communication and transparency to the community and within the organization; and WHEREAS, upgrading the Assistant Information Technology Manager position to an Information Technology Manager position, and upgrading Audio Visual Technician to Information Systems Support Technician in the Information Technology Department staffing allocation will assist in improving the reliability, resiliency and operational capabilities of the City’s technology infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, it is important to have the necessary staffing levels to respond to community needs and City Council priorities; and
WHEREAS, upgrading these two positions will provide much needed staff resources to focus on high priorities in the areas of communications and technology infrastructure.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council hereby RESOLVES as follows:
That the upgrade of the Assistant Information Technology Manager position to Information Technology Manager in the Information Technology Department, and upgrade of the Management Analyst I position to Public Information Officer in the City Manager’s Office Adopted Budget Staffing Allocation is approved.
