IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A THREEYEAR CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DAVIS STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (DSFRC) IN THE AMOUNT OF $141,000 AND TO AUTHORIZE CORRESPONDING FUNDING FOR
THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING BASIC NEED SUPPORT TO SAN LEANDRO RESIDENTS WHO ARE
AT RISK OR WHO ARE ALREADY EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, USING AMERICAN RESCUE PALN ACT (ARPA) FUND 190
WHEREAS, DSFRC plays a key role in linking people at risk or who are already experiencing homelessness to basic needs services support; and WHEREAS, the scope of services and a corresponding agreement dated March 1, 2023 has been developed between the City of San Leandro and Davis Street Family Resource Center (DSFRC); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the use of existing unspent appropriations from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Fund 190 for the purposes of executing and implementing this much-needed services contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a $141,000 agreement with Davis Street Family Resource Center (DSFRC)
2. The use of existing previously appropriated ARPA funds in the amount of $14,100 for fiscal year 2022-2023, $42,300 for fiscal year 2023-2024, $42,300 for fiscal year 2024-2025 and $42,300 for fiscal year 2025-2026 is hereby authorized by the City Council.
