RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING 2022-23 BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR 2021-22 YEAR-END, ONE-TIME
APPROPRIATION OF SURPLUS FUNDS FOR GENERAL FUND, SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS,
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, AND
FIDUCIARY FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on best revenue and expenditure information available at the time the budgets are prepared, and WHEREAS, budget adjustments are required at the mid-budget cycle of the biennial budget incorporating necessary changes, that require additional budget appropriations or re-appropriations between budget line-items, and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the 2021-22 and 2022-23 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Enterprise Fund, and Internal Service Funds budgets on June 28, 2021, and WHEREAS, subject to final audit, the year-end 2021-22 General Fund surplus—revenue exceeding expenditures—amounts to $11,945,000, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee reviewed the proposed appropriation of 2021-22 year-end, one-time funds on February 22, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
The proposed adjustments to the 2022-23 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Capital Improvement, and Fiduciary Funds for 2021-22 year-end, one-time appropriations are approved.
