IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TITAN EMPIRE INC., DBA; THE TITAN GROUP, PROFESSIONAL INVESTIGATIONS FOR THIRD-PARTY INTERNAL AFFAIRS INVESTIGATION SERVICES, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $199,000.00 WHEREAS, on September 1, 2022, the City Manager executed an agreement between the City of San Leandro and The Titan Empire Inc., DBA; The Titan Group, Professional Investigations for Police Professional Investigations in an amount not to exceed $49,000.00 through June 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City desires to authorize an amendment to the above-referenced consulting services agreement with Titan Empire Group, Professional Investigations, for internal affairs investigation services; and WHEREAS, the City desires to use an independent investigation company that specializes in handing complaints against Police employees and Internal Affairs Investigations; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the amendment to the Agreement is approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute the amendment.
