RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AGREEMENT TOTALING $150,000 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND REBUILDING TOGETHER OAKLAND | EAST BAY FOR THE
PROVISION OF MINOR HOME REPAIR GRANTS
WHEREAS, the final Annual Action Plan (referred to hereinafter as “the Plan”) was adopted on May 1, 2023 by Resolution No. 2023-041 reflecting the activities that the City plans to fund and implement during FY 2023-2024; and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Rebuilding Together Oakland East Bay, was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved, and execution thereof is hereby authorized, and CDBG funds are hereby authorized for the Minor Repair Home Grant Program for the CDBG grant amounts below for Rebuilding Together Oakland Eastbay (RTO):
• Program Admin (165-43-232-5120) $ 43,500
• Grants (165-43-232-8501) $106,500
Total $150,000
