IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE 2023 COUNCILMEMBERS’ HANDBOOK WHEREAS, a City Councilmember’s Handbook was created in 1998 to commit to writing the basic standards of Council operations, and to make such information readily available to all, not just through “past practice” or institutional memory; and
WHEREAS, the Councilmember’s Handbook was last updated in 2022 and needs updates to reflect institutional changes, and changes to policies and practice; and WHEREAS, the revised 2023 Councilmember’s Handbook, has been reviewed by the City Council Rules Committee, which recommends presentation to and approval by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends its approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that the 2023 Councilmember Handbook is hereby approved.
