RESOLUTION THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE(S) FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2023 ANNUAL CONFERENCE (PROVIDES FOR DISCUSSION AND DESIGNATION OF A VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE[S]) WHEREAS, the League of California Cities (“League”) 2023 Annual Conference is scheduled for September 20-22 in Sacramento, California; and WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business Meeting, scheduled for Friday, September 22, in which the League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that establish League policy; and WHEREAS, the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the Annual Business Meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the event that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That Vice Mayor Azevedo is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and That Councilmember Aguilar is hereby designated as the alternate voting delegate.
