IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2023-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE NONPROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WEST COAST ARBORISTS, INC. FOR CITYWIDE TREE PRUNING, STUMP REMOVAL, AND ARBORIST SERVICES FOR $400,000.00 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $754,000.00 WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame released a Request for Proposals (RFP) regarding tree pruning, stump removal, and arborist services on May 13, 2021, and on June 3, 2021, proposals were received, evaluated, and ranked based on the selected criteria listed in the RFP; and WHEREAS, West Coast Arborist, Inc. submitted the most qualified proposal; and WHEREAS, West Coast Arborist, Inc. has agreed to honor the terms of the City of Burlingame’s 2021 contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. Section 2 of the Agreement, entitled “Compensation”, is hereby amended to pay Contractor a sum not to exceed $400,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 for a total contract amount of $754,000.00; and
2. All other terms shall remain in full force and effect.
