RESOLUTION NO. 2024-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AN APPROPRIATION OF $1,284,140 FROM 2023 UNSPENT FUNDS BALANCE TO FUND THE
CLIMATEC PHASE III PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro, through implementation of its Climate Action Plan and other agency practices and programs, is committed to environmental and financial stewardship of limited resources; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro chose and authorized Climatic, LLC, to perform energy efficiency upgrades Citywide through an Installation Agreement executed in 2021 for a total cost of $4,994,884; and
WHEREAS, $3,710,744 has been appropriated for this project from ARPA funds and General Funds.
WHEREAS, $1,284,140 in the FY 2023 budget is unspent and available for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That $1,284,140 from 2023 Unspent Funds is appropriated to account 210-18-149- 5240 for the Climatec Phase III energy efficiency project.
