IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GATES AND ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR DESIGN OF THE SHORELINE PARK PROJECT 2020.3080 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $3,015,235; TO AUTHORIZE INDIVIDUAL AGREEMENT AMENDMENTS UP TO 5% ($150,785) OF THE TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT AND TO AUTHORIZE CUMULATIVE AGREEMENT AMENDMENTS UP TO 15% ($452,355) OF THE TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and Gates and Associates, Inc., was presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual agreement amendments up to a maximum of $150,785, which is 5% of the original total not to exceed amount, each; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative agreement amendments up to a maximum of $452,355, which is 15% of the original total not to exceed amount.
