1. The meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm. Mayor Gonzalez led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Councilmember Viveros-Walton joined the Council on the Dais after she was sworn-in.

The Mayor with consensus from the Council, moved items 13a and 13b up on the agenda in the interest of time for the Appointees.
13.a. 24-076 Appointment of Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton to District 1 A motion was made by Councilmember Ballew, seconded by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., that this Staff Report be Approved. (Note: Councilmember Viveros-Walton shows as Excused however she was not able to vote on this item, but once appointed, had the ability to vote on subsequent items) The motion CARRIED by the following vote:

7. REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN
The Mayor moved item 7 up on the agenda to be heard before consent as the item that was discussed in Closed Session was regarding item 5E, executing a contract with Redwood Law Group.
