IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING 2023-2024 BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR 2022-2023 YEAR-END, ONE-TIME APPROPRIATION OF UNSPENT FUNDS FOR GENERAL FUND, SPECIAL
REVENUE FUNDS, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND, AND FIDUCIARY FUND WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on best revenue and expenditure information available at the time the budgets are prepared, and WHEREAS, budget adjustments are required at the mid-budget cycle of the biennial budget incorporating necessary changes, that require additional budget appropriations or re-appropriations between budget line-items, and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Enterprise Fund, and Internal Service Funds budgets on June 28, 2021, and WHEREAS, subject to final audit, the year-end 2022-2023 General Fund unspent funds—revenue exceeding expenditures—amounts to at least $9,258,000, and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee reviewed the proposed appropriation of 2022-2023 year-end, onetime funds on February 28, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
The proposed adjustments to the 2023-2024 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Capital Improvement, and Fiduciary Funds for 2022-2023 year-end, one-time appropriations are approved.
