RESOLUTION NO. 2024-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO’S APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025
WHEREAS, Article XIII of the California Constitution and Section 7900 et seq. of the California Government Code requires cities to adopt limits on appropriations for each fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City’s Gann Appropriation Limit has been calculated for 2024- 2025 and is setforth in that certain document Gann Appropriation LimitationCalculation for 2024- 2025, Attachment 2, attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the staff report and the related documentation has been made available to the public as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows:
1. The adjustment factors elected for calculating the Gann Appropriation Limit are the California State Per Capita Personal Income growth rate at 3.62% and the percentage rate of change in population within the County at 1.21%, and
2. The Appropriation Limit for 2024-2025 is established at $325,136,898.
