RESOLUTION NO. 2024-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
REIMBURSEMENTS FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS TO ATTEND STRATEGIC
ORGANIZATIONAL TRAINING
WHEREAS, the City Council desires for City leaders to gain skills and insight for leadership training at university institutions in order to promote continual learning and grow a professional bench of Council Members; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for Council Members and staff leadership classifications to attend a three-week Senior Executives in State and Local Government executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School; and WHEREAS, approved Council Members can seek reimbursement from said budgeted funds for travel/training costs that exceed stated amounts set forth in the City Council Member Handbook for this purpose only.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That Council Member Xouhoa Bowen is approved for reimbursement of travel and training expenses incurred while attending the Senior Executives in State and Local Government executive education program at the Harvard Kennedy School.
