IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO AN EXISTING AGREEMENT BETWEEN COUNTY OF
ALAMEDA AND CITY OF SAN LEANDRO TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025
WHEREAS, the Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention (HHAP) grant program provides flexible block grant funds to Continuums of Care, large cities and counties to support regional coordination and expand or develop local capacity to end and prevent homelessness in local communities throughout the state of California; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro was allocated $1,024,091 in HHAP funds, passed through the County of Alameda;
WHEREAS, an agreement dated October 1, 2022 is by and between the County of Alameda and City of San Leandro; and
WHEREAS, the agreement was amended once to extend the term of the agreement and increase funds; and
WHEREAS an amendment to extend the term of the agreement is presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the amendment to the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said amendment to the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows:
1. That said amendments to the agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
