IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GPA CONSULTING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $271,438 FOR
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE LAKE CHABOT ROAD EROSION REPAIRS, PROJECT NO. 2023.4020; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE INDIVIDUAL CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO 5% (OR $13,572) OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT; AND TO
AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND APPROVE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO A CUMULATIVE VALUE OF 10% (OR $27,144) OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT WHEREAS, staff issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking consulting firms to perform environmental services in compliance with the National Environmetal Policy Act, for the Lake Chabot Road Storm Erosion Repairs project; and
WHEREAS, after reviewing the sole RFP response received, staff recommends that GPA Consulting, Inc. should be retained to perform the work of the Environmental Services consistent with NEPA for the Lake Chabot Road Storm Erosion Repairs project in an amount not to exceed $271,438; and WHEREAS, GPA Consulting, Inc. has agreed to the terms of the agreement pending Council approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the scope of work; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual contract amendments up to 5% of the original contract amount, or $13,572; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve cumulative contract amendments up to a maximum of 10% of the original contract amount, or $27,144.
