IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO A NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GARLAND/DBS, INC. FOR ROOF RESTORATION PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 FOR $219,879 FOR A NEW TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $1,378,951 WHEREAS, the City is in contract with Garland/DBS, Inc for roof repairs on three existing buildings; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to add repairs to the roofs on two additional buildings at the Public Works Service Center is presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the execution of said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That execution of Amendment Number One with Garland/DBS, Inc. for the Public Works Service Center roofing restoration project at the price listed in the staff report and mentioned herein is approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
