IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TERRAPHASE ENGINEERING INC. FOR SUPPLEMENTAL WORK ON THE SEA LEVEL RISE MASTER PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 FOR $134,093 FOR A NEW TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $295,093 WHEREAS, the City is in contract with Terraphase Engineering Inc. for development of a Sea Level Rise Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment to add the following additional work is being presented to this City Council: development of multiple alternative surface inundation maps; mapping of critical infrastructure assets; evaluation of available groundwater elevation data to refine conclusions regarding SLR in the San Leandro study area; development of outreach materials for multiple public meetings and; collaboration with neighboring operational landscape units; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the execution of said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That execution of Amendment Number One with Terraphase Engineering Inc. for work to augment the Sea Level Rise Master Plan at the price listed in the staff report and mentioned herein is approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and
That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
