IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2024-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS TO PURCHASE FORD MODEL F550/LT40 FROM CUSTOM TRUCK ONE SOURCE FOR $199,898.86; WHICH
WILL BE PURCHASED THROUGH SOURCEWELL, A COOPERATIVE CONTRACT PURCHASING AGENCY; AND AUTHORIZE AN INCREASE IN CONTRACT PRICE OF UP TO $50,000 TO ACCOUNT FOR
ANY CHANGE IN PURCHASE PRICE DUE TO MARKET VOLATILITY
WHEREAS, a quote for an equipment purchase from Custom Truck One Source is presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the purchase of said equipment; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the purchase of equipment listed on the quote from Custom Truck One Source, attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof substantially for the price listed is approved and purchase of the equipment by the City Manager is authorized; and
That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute all documents to effect the intent and purpose of this resolution; and
That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to spend an additional $50,000 in case prices change due to market volatility.
