IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO A
CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MCGUIRE & HESTER FOR THE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE HAAS AVENUE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND OTHER DEBRIS IN THE AMOUNT OF $136,268.17 FOR A NEW TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $363,768.17
WHEREAS, the City is in contract with McGuire & Hester for emergency work to address the collapse of the Haas Avenue pedestrian bridge; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 to add scope and fee to the Haas Avenue pedestrian bridge contract with McGuire and Hester is presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the execution of said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That execution of Amendment No. 2 with McGuire & Hester for the Haas Avenue Pedestrian Bridge demolition and removal project at the price listed in the staff report and mentioned herein is approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and
That the City Manager is authorized to take all action and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
