IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE FY 2024-2025 BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR FY 2023-24 ONE-TIME
APPROPRIATION OF UNSPENT FUNDS FOR THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on best revenue and expenditure information available at the time the budgets are prepared, and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Enterprise Fund, and Internal Service Funds budgets on May 15, 2023, and WHEREAS, the audited FY 2023-2024 financial results in the staff report are presented to the City Council, and the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and WHEREAS, revenue exceeded expenditures, and some expenditure savings resulted in $915,936 in unspent FY 2023-2024 General funds, and
WHEREAS, the City Council Finance Committee reviewed the audited FY 2023-2024 year-end financial results and proposed 2024-2025 budget amendment for FY 2023-2024 unspent funds on February 26, 2024, and forwarded it to City Council for discussion.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said 2023-2024 audited year-end financial results are accepted; and That by the adoption of this Resolution the budget amendment for FY 2024-2025, as directed by City Council at the March 17, 2025, City Council meeting, is approved, including all the attachments to this Resolution, which are incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
