IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH KDC ACCOUNTING & CONSULTING, LLC FOR A ONE-YEAR TERM IN AN AMOUNT NOT-TO-EXCEED $125,000 WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has previously worked with KDC Accounting & Consulting, LLC to prepare the annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) and other required annual financial reports due to staff turnover in the Finance Department; and WHEREAS, KDC Accounting & Consulting, LLC has considerable experience in governmental accounting as well as familiarity with the City’s systems, policies, and procedures; and WHEREAS, the agreement between the City of San Leandro and KDC Accounting & Consulting, a copy of which is attached to the staff report and by reference made a part hereof, has been presented to this Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the Consulting Services Agreement with KDC Accounting & Consulting for a do-not-exceed amount of $125,000 for a one-year term with an option to renew for up to two years under the same terms is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and That the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents and take all actions necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
