IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH STREAM, KIM, HICKS, WRAGE & ALFARO, PC THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $400,000
WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with its purchasing provisions, has identified Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC to provide legal representation associated with tort liability claims and litigation; and
WHEREAS, theattorneysatStream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PChavethe expertise to provide representation in tort liability and litigation to theCity Council andtheCity’s administration; and WHEREAS, Risk Management has sufficient funds in Fiscal Year 2024-2025 account 689-19- 004-5110 for legal services; and
WHEREAS, Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC has agreed to the terms of the contract pending Council approval; and
WHEREAStheCityCouncil is familiarwith the contents ofthe agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, theCityofSan LeandroCityCouncildoesRESOLVEas follows: That the agreement is approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
