IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. SA. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE BIENNIAL BUDGET OF THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO FOR 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 AND MAKING A DETERMINATION PURSUANT TO CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE §33334.3 WHEREAS, the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro must annually adopt a budget establishing spending limits by appropriating authorized expenditures for the upcoming fiscal years; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Agency that Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Funds be used to the maximum extent possible to defray the cost of production, improvement, and preservation of lowand moderate-income housing; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 33334.3, the funds shall be appropriated for administrative activities associated with the Successor Agency and repayment of the Recognized Obligation Payment Schedules (ROPS).
NOW, THEREFORE, the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the Successor Agency reviewed the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 Proposed Budget and caused public hearings to be held concerning the Proposed Budget on June 16, 2025; and That the Successor Agency hereby finds and determines that the planning and administrative expenses in the Successor Agency biennial budget are necessary for administration and repayment of the ROPS, and
That the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 Proposed Budget referenced above is hereby approved and amounts stated herein in Exhibit A are hereby appropriated to the purposes stated.
