TOC Grantees Contacts.pdf;
Hello,
Congratulations, we are pleased to let you know your jurisdiction received Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) Planning Grant funds! Please see the attached spreadsheet for award amount by TOC policy area and jurisdiction.
The grant awards were approved at the February 14, 2025 MTC Planning Committee.
Please refer to Agenda Item 7a for further information. We will follow up in the next few weeks with additional information related to your specific project(s). In the meantime, please get started on these next steps:
1. MTC requires a resolution of local support from your jurisdiction to accept the funds. Please start the process to adopt this resolution as soon as possible— we would like to receive a copy of your resolution by June 30, 2025 at the latest. The template can be found here Please submit the approved resolution to [email protected].
a. If your jurisdiction received awards across multiple policy areas, these awards may be combined into the same resolution. Please be sure to coordinate the resolution approval with other staff within your jurisdiction across the awarded policy areas.
2. The attached award spreadsheet identifies the jurisdiction staff contact that MTC has on file for awarded categories as well as the Planning Director/Manager and the Public Works or Transportation Director of your jurisdiction. Please confirm this contact information is accurate and respond to this email if any updates are needed to the contacts listed.
MTC contacts for each of the TOC categories are provided below if you have any specific questions on the next steps:
TOC Policy Area MTC Contact Email
Density Ada Chan [email protected]
Housing Hannah Diaz [email protected]
Parking Joel Mandella [email protected]
Station Access Krute Singa [email protected]
Lastly, as you may recall, the TOC Policy planning grant call was released with a capital call for projects. Staff is seeking approval of the capital call award recommendations at the MTC Planning Committee meeting on Friday, March 14th (committee meeting materials).
Following the Committee meeting, staff will send a separate communication on capital grants next steps to awardees with approved projects.
We look forward to working with you on your project(s)! Sincerely,
Planning Grants Team
