IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2025 GAPVAX MODEL MC1005-3S4X COMBINATION JET/VAC TRUCK FOR $767,056.60, WHICH WILL BE PURCHASED THROUGH SOURCEWELL, A COOPERATIVE CONTRACT PURCHASING AGENCY; AND AUTHORIZE AN INCREASE IN CONTRACT PRICE OF UP TO $50,000 TO ACCOUNT FOR ANY CHANGE IN PURCHASE PRICE DUE
TO MARKET VOLATILITY
WHEREAS, a quote for an equipment purchase from GapVax is presented to this City Council in compliance with San Leandro Municipal Code Section 1-6-305 related to cooperative purchasing; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the purchase of said equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That the purchase of equipment listed on the quote from GapVax for $767,056.60, attached to this Resolution as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, is approved and purchase of the equipment by the City Manager is authorized; and
That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute all documents and take all actions necessary to effect the intent and purpose of this Resolution; and That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to spend an additional $50,000 in case prices change due to market volatility.
