IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NONPROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH POLYDYNE, INC. FOR $786,000 OVER FIVE YEARS
FOR POLYMER SELECTION AND SUPPLY SERVICES FOR THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro’s Water Pollution Control Plant requires the use of polymer in day-to-day operations in the wastewater treatment process; and WHEREAS, the City’s current contract for the selection and supply of polymer ends June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, staff sought competitive proposals for polymer selection and supply services and found that the proposal from Polydyne, Inc. provides the best value and is the most advantageous to the City; and WHEREAS, staff recommends entering into contract with Polydyne, Inc. for the selection and supply of polymer for a period of five years with a not to exceed amount of $786,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said non-professional services agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and
That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
