IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE NONPROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GARLAND/DBS, INC. FOR ROOF RESTORATION PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,740 FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $1,383,965
WHEREAS, the City is in contract with Garland/DBS, Inc for roof repairs on five existing buildings; and
WHEREAS, two amendments to the contract have been executed; and WHEREAS, a third Amendment that exceeds previous authority and that will address repairs to damaged roof sheathing of Shop 6 at the Public Works Service Center is presented to this City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the execution of said amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That execution of Amendment No. 3 with Garland/DBS, Inc to memorialize an increase of $3,740 to the current not to exceed amount of compensation is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is authorized; and
That a new total not-to-exceed amount for the contract of $1,383,965 is authorized; and That the City Manager is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
