IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT No. 1 TO THE LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH STREAM, KIM, HICKS, WRAGE & ALFARO, PC THROUGH JUNE 30, 2027 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $1,000,000 PER FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City, in accordance with its purchasing provisions, has identified Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC to provide legal representation associated with tort liability claims and litigation; and
WHEREAS, the attorneys at Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC have the expertise to provide representationin tort liabilityandlitigationtothe City Council and the City’s administration; and
WHEREAS, Risk Management has sufficient funds in Fiscal Years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 in account 689-19-004-5110 for legal services; and WHEREAS, Stream, Kim, Hicks, Wrage & Alfaro, PC has agreed to the terms of the amendment pending Council approval; and
WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows:
That the amendment to the agreement is approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
