NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held before the San Leandro Hillside Geologic Hazard Abatement District Board of Directors, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the matter of:
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SAN LEANDRO HILLSIDE GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT ORDERING DISSOLUTION
OF THE HILLSIDE GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT (GHAD) PURSUANT TO PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE DIVISION 17, SECTIONS 26500- 26654
The Board of Directors for the San Leandro Hillside Geologic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD) will hold a public hearing to consider dissolution of the GHAD, receive all comments from district property owners, and receive all ballots signifying whether the property owner objects to the proposed dissolution. Ballots from the property owners will be received and calculated up to and during the Public Hearing based on the weighted assessed value of real property.
A copy of the Board’s October 6, 2025, Resolution 2025-001 initiating the GHAD dissolution procedures pursuant to California Public Resources Code division 17, sections 26500-26654 and directing that a public hearing be scheduled and a copy of the Plan of Control dated October 10, 2000, (Project No. 4867.1.002.01) are available for viewing or copying at 835 E14th Street, San Leandro, CA 94577

Public comment may be made live during the meeting in-person, via zoom or through the eComment feature at https://sanleandro.legistar. com. Please note that the eComment period will close at 11:59 pm the Sunday before the scheduled board meeting and distributed to GHAD Board Members prior to the start of the Board meeting. Written public comment will not be verbally read out loud.
