IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE FISCAL YEAR 2026 MID-YEAR FINANCIAL REPORT AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2025 AND BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR FY 2026
WHEREAS, financial reports provide the City Council with budget updates for the current fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the FY 2026 Mid-Year Financial Report as of December 31, 2025, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit B, is presented to the City Council, and the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves annual budgets based on best revenue and expenditure information available at the time the budgets are prepared; and WHEREAS, budget adjustments are required at mid-year incorporating necessary changes, requiring additional budget appropriations or re-appropriations between budget line-items; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the FY 2026-27 General Fund, Special Revenue Funds, Enterprise Fund, and Internal Service Funds budgets on June 16, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City Council Finance Committee reviewed the mid-year financial report and proposed budget amendments for FY 2026 on February 25, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows:
That said FY 2026 Mid-Year Financial Report as of December 31, 2025, and the budget amendment for FY 2026 as proposed in Exhibit A, are hereby approved.
